WE.ARE.KAITIAKI

Te Maara o Te Waka Rākau

Te Maara o Te Waka Rākau incorporates a community garden, maara kai and food forest. It brings the community together, creates a greater connection with Papatūānuku and develops skills as a community space, with volunteering, workshops, events and a range of activities to support wellbeing. We believe the foundation for success of Te Maara is taking a Te Ao Māori approach using mātauranga Māori.
