Rongoā by the River
Join us for Rongoā by the River. This is our space to kōrerorero rongoā , harvest, maintain, observe and monitor our growing ngahere. We are kaitiakitanga of te taiao.

About the Event
We practice kaitikaitanga at this space. We work collaboratively with Greater Wellington Regional Council by harvesting the tracks and pathways at Chrystalls Bend for manuhiri. We monitor and observe the ngahere and the waterways and look at ways of enhancing the mauri. One way to enhance the mauri is to entice manu to the ngahere by planting rākau that specific manu like for shelter and for kai. Another way is to keep the pathways clear and tidy for manuhiri.
