How you can support us

We deliver services and workshops on Rongoā Māori for our community. We provide a safe space for wāhine to come together, learn, share kai and kōrero.

We mostly rely on volunteers and koha to facilitate our services.  Many of the wāhine at Te Waka Rākau have contributed to our Charitable Trust to enable us to help other wāhine.

Our goal is to have full-time kaiawhina to work closely with wāhine who need professional assistance. Through the Punaōra Wānanga we have identified strong leaders and healers who have stepped forward to contribute their time and skill toward our kaupapa.
